The leaf side
Three leaves on one stem
A large central leaf with a smaller leaf on either side. Their stems meet at the bottom in a shared base.
Above them is KANADA, the year on the left and right, 20 and 26, and at the bottom 1 UNZE 9999 FEINSILBER.
Canada’s coat of arms also bears three maple leaves on one stem, since 1921, first in green and since 1957 in red. There, the sprig stands for all Canadians, according to the country’s heraldic authority.

Up the trunk into the crown

The other side shows a maple from below, the view running up the trunk into the branches. Behind it are maple leaves, some as silhouettes, some only in outline.
On the left, in large figures, is the face value, 20 DOLLARS, and at the foot of the trunk a small coat of arms of Liberia and REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA.
The issuing country is Liberia, the coin is made in Germany, and the manufacturer is Kettner Edelmetalle. KANADA on the leaf side names the theme of the design.

Sometimes a sober bullion coin becomes a small work of art. That is exactly what happens with the 1 oz Silver Triple Maple Leaves Germany 2026: the world-famous maple leaf, known from the classic Maple Leaf, appears here not in cool white metal, but in black, red and gold. A tribute to Germany – realised on an edition of the "Symbolism" series, which leaves the manufactory as a silver rarity in just 100 pieces.
Black, Red, Gold on Sparkling Ice – The Design
The obverse bears the inscription "KANADA" at the top. Below it, three maple leaves overlap: a vivid red leaf in the centre, a deep black one with a metallic shimmer on the left, and a gold-shimmering one on the right. This trio of colours reads like a greeting from maple forest to maple forest – a Canadian symbol, German colours. The background is executed as an iced-out surface: countless crystalline glitter points make the leaves appear to float before a starry sky. The edge, the year 2026 and the inscription "1 OUNCE 9999 FINE SILVER" are finely gilded and create a warm contrast to the dark background.
The reverse side surprises with a gnarled maple tree, its crown worked out to fill the image; large leaf silhouettes stand out in front of it. In addition, the face value "20 DOLLARS", the reference to the Republic of Liberia, and an integrated hologram element. Anyone who turns the coin into the light will discover new details with every movement.
Pure fine silver, three colours, sparkling glitter – a coin you'll want to pick up again and again.

Elaborately Refined in Germany
The basis is a regular maple leaf coin, which is subsequently refined in Germany by a specialised manufactory exclusively for Kettner Edelmetalle. First, the crystalline iced-out structure is created, giving the surface its sparkle. This is followed by the delicate colouring of the three leaves. Finally, the partially gilded sections provide the finishing touch. Each stage of this multi-step refinement requires precision – making each individual piece a small one-of-a-kind item. The manufacturer refers to the coin itself, not to the refinement.
A Collector's Item with a Very Low Mintage – Only 100 Pieces
While large bullion series such as the classic Maple Leaf are issued in mintages of millions and therefore remain available at all times, this edition takes the opposite path: it is strictly limited to only 100 pieces. Even among refined collector's coins, such a micro-mintage is an absolute exception. The advantage over mass-produced products is obvious – the number of pieces is finite, while the collector community continues to grow. This interplay of tight limitation and sustained demand can, over the years, develop into an attractive value appreciation potential. For connoisseurs, a rare collector's coin is in any case far more than precious metal: it is a work of art, a document of its time and collector's joy all in one. Those wishing to continue following the "Symbolism" series will find matching sister editions in the "Green and Red" or "Black Ruthenium" variants – each with its own character, each equally limited.
Silver – A Coin Metal with a Long Collecting Tradition
Silver has accompanied humanity for millennia as a coin metal, as a sign of wealth and prestige, and as a treasured collector's item. It is durable, retains its properties over generations and can be artistically refined like hardly any other precious metal. Anyone who collects silver coins with character will take great pleasure in this edition.
Moreover, silver remains a globally traded commodity with high demand from industry, electronics, solar and medical technology, whose supply is naturally limited. Physical precious metal is also traditionally valued as an inflation hedge and as crisis protection. A pleasant side effect for collectors in Germany: under current law, profits from the sale of physical silver are generally tax-free, provided the minimum holding period of one year is observed.
