Triple Maple Leaf 2026
Three leaves on one side,on the other the tree.

Leaf side: three maple leaves on a shared stem, KANADA at the top, 20 and 26 on the left and right, the weight and fineness at the bottom
The leaf side
Three leaves on one stem
A large central leaf with a smaller leaf on either side. Their stems meet at the bottom in a shared base.
Above them is KANADA, the year on the left and right, 20 and 26, and at the bottom 1 UNZE 9999 FEINSILBER.
Canada’s coat of arms also bears three maple leaves on one stem, since 1921, first in green and since 1957 in red. There, the sprig stands for all Canadians, according to the country’s heraldic authority.

The tree side
Up the trunk into the crown

The other side shows a maple from below, the view running up the trunk into the branches. Behind it are maple leaves, some as silhouettes, some only in outline.
On the left, in large figures, is the face value, 20 DOLLARS, and at the foot of the trunk a small coat of arms of Liberia and REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA.
The issuing country is Liberia, the coin is made in Germany, and the manufacturer is Kettner Edelmetalle. KANADA on the leaf side names the theme of the design.
The version
One design, many faces
All editions bear the same leaf side as the coin in pure silver. Colour, gilding, a hologram or a glittering background are added only afterwards.
A hologram makes the leaves shimmer in the colours of the rainbow.

Some coins impress through weight. This one impresses through light. The 1 oz silver Triple Maple Leaf Hologram 2026 is a special edition rarely seen in the silver coin segment: visually spectacular, elaborately crafted – and with a mintage that could hardly be smaller.
Three maple leaves, countless shades of colour
The design side shows three artistically layered maple leaves, each one worked out down to the finest leaf veins. Above the ensemble is the country name CANADA, below it the inscription "1 OUNCE 9999 FINE SILVER", with the split year of issue 2026 to the left and right. The highlight lies in the finishing: a holographically shimmering colouring makes the leaves light up in green, turquoise, blue, gold and warm orange depending on the angle of light – like autumn foliage in backlight. The deep black background intensifies this effect, while the gilded lettering and gilded rim elegantly frame it. The value side shows a mighty maple tree, its crown overlaid by large leaf silhouettes, together with the face value of 20 dollars.
The maple leaf is regarded as the emblem of Canada and has adorned the national flag since 1965; the leaf of the sugar maple traditionally serves as the model. Since 1988, the maple leaf on the classic Silver Maple Leaf has achieved cult status – millions of investors know this image. The Triple Maple Leaf interpretation takes up the classic and translates it into a modern, threefold composition that gives the design significantly more depth.
Proof – the premier class of minting artistry
This year of issue was struck in Proof quality, the highest standard in coin production. Mirror-bright surfaces, silky raised reliefs, no disruptive minting marks: this quality is achieved only with multiply polished dies, reduced minting pressure and a great deal of manual work. To keep the Proof finish intact, the coin is supplied in a coin capsule – fingerprints have no place on such a surface.
One hundred specimens of this edition exist worldwide. By comparison: millions of pieces of classic Maple Leaf bullion coins are produced year after year. This ratio explains the appeal to collectors better than any advertising promise.
Why collectors reach for this edition
- Smallest mintages set the standard: Anyone who collects complete series knows how quickly three-digit mintages disappear from the secondary market
- Finishing technique: Hologram, colouring and gilding on a single coin – demanding to produce, unmistakable in effect
- Iconic theme: Canada's maple leaf is one of the most famous coin designs in the world
- Tangible asset included: Beneath the finishing lies a full ounce of fine silver at 999.9/1,000
- Collectable variety: In addition to the hologram version, further Triple Maple Leaf variants are released, for example with rhodium or colour finishing – a rewarding field for thematic collectors
While regular issues of the series appear in mintages of four to five digits, this strike plays in a different league. Here it is not the mintage that determines the appeal, but its absence. This is precisely why experienced numismatists buy such issues early – and place them untouched in the capsule.
Fine silver as the foundation
Physical silver has accompanied mankind for thousands of years as a coinage metal, medium of exchange and symbol of wealth and prestige. Its intrinsic value does not arise from trust in institutions, but from physical properties: silver is durable, tradable as a commodity worldwide, highly liquid and indispensable in electronics, solar technology and medical technology. Supply remains limited, while industrial demand grows with new technologies. For private collectors there is a practical aspect as well: in Germany, profits from the sale of silver are generally tax-free provided the holding period is at least one year. Topics such as inflation hedge and crisis protection are part of the basic equipment when it comes to precious metals anyway – however, with this strike the numismatic appeal is clearly in the foreground. And because silver retains its properties over generations, such a coin often later passes on to children and grandchildren.
A lover's piece you won't find twice
Anyone who owns one of the hundred specimens holds a rare collector's coin in their hands that almost no one in the world possesses. An iconic design from Canada, German minting artistry, issued by the Republic of Liberia: this combination makes the edition a small curiosity of numismatics – and that is exactly what collectors love. Secure your specimen in Proof quality while the strictly limited mintage of only 100 pieces lasts.
