The leaf side

Three leaves on one stem

A large central leaf with a smaller leaf on either side. Their stems meet at the bottom in a shared base.

Above them is KANADA, the year on the left and right, 20 and 26, and at the bottom 1 UNZE 9999 FEINSILBER.

Canada’s coat of arms also bears three maple leaves on one stem, since 1921, first in green and since 1957 in red. There, the sprig stands for all Canadians, according to the country’s heraldic authority.

  • Shared base of the stems

  • Midrib and veins

  • KANADA above the leaves

The tree side

Up the trunk into the crown

REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA with the small coat of arms, and the face value

The other side shows a maple from below, the view running up the trunk into the branches. Behind it are maple leaves, some as silhouettes, some only in outline.

On the left, in large figures, is the face value, 20 DOLLARS, and at the foot of the trunk a small coat of arms of Liberia and REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA.

The issuing country is Liberia, the coin is made in Germany, and the manufacturer is Kettner Edelmetalle. KANADA on the leaf side names the theme of the design.

Sometimes a classic bullion coin becomes a small work of art – and the 1 oz Silver Triple Maple Leaves Green and Red 2026 is exactly such a case. The world-famous Canadian maple leaf design, known from the classic Maple Leaf, is elevated here to an entirely new design level: on a deep black "Iced Out" background covered with countless sparkling points, three maple leaves glow in vivid red and fresh green. As a silver rarity with a mintage of only 100 pieces, this edition is one of the most sought-after pieces in the "Symbolism" series.

Red and green on a sparkling background – the design

The obverse shows three artfully overlapping maple leaves beneath the inscription "CANADA". The central leaf shines in rich red, while the two outer leaves are rendered in brilliant green – a colorful symbol for the change of seasons in the Canadian maple forest. The background is designed as an "Iced Out" surface: countless crystalline sparkling points create the illusion of a glittering starry sky, making the colored leaves appear to float. The frame, edge, and the inscriptions "1 OZ 9999 FINE SILVER" as well as the year 2026 are finely gilded, creating a warm contrast to the cool black.

The reverse presents a magnificent, gnarled maple tree in full foliage, flanked by the face value "20 DOLLARS" and the national emblem of the Republic of Liberia. Here too, the fine partial gilding (Gilded) extends over the design elements, giving the coin its elegant, three-dimensional appearance.

Purest fine silver meets vibrant colors and sparkling glitter – a collector's piece you'll want to keep turning towards the light.

Elaborately refined in Germany

The basis for this edition is a regular maple leaf minting, which is subsequently refined in Germany by a specialized manufactory exclusively for Kettner Edelmetalle. Through several process steps, a simple silver coin is transformed into a high-quality colorful work of art. First, the crystalline "Iced Out" effect is applied, giving the surface its sparkling glitter. This is followed by the delicate coloring of the three maple leaves, before the partially gilded areas add the final touch. This multi-stage refinement demands the utmost precision – making each of the 100 pieces a small one-of-a-kind item.

Strictly limited: only 100 pieces worldwide

What makes this edition so appealing to collectors is its rarity: the worldwide mintage is limited to just 100 pieces. Such a very low mintage is an absolute exception even among refined collector's coins. While large bullion series are issued in mintages of millions, this Triple Maple Leaves edition remains a closely guarded collector's item. It is precisely this interplay of tight limitation and lively demand that can develop into attractive value appreciation potential over the years. For connoisseurs, such a rare collector's coin is far more than mere precious metal anyway – it is a small piece of art.

Silver as a collectible and store of value

Silver has accompanied humanity for thousands of years as a coinage metal, as a symbol of wealth, and as a treasured collectible. Unlike a plain bar, a refined rarity such as this silver coin tells its own unique story, combining the fascination of the precious metal with genuine craftsmanship. Anyone who is passionate about silver coins with character will find a whole range of artfully designed editions in the "Symbolism" series.

Beyond its appeal to collectors, silver remains a globally traded commodity with high demand from industry, electronics, solar, and medical technology. Physical precious metal is also traditionally valued as an inflation hedge and as crisis protection. A pleasant side effect for collectors in Germany: under current law, profits from the sale of physical silver are generally tax-free, provided the holding period of at least one year is observed.
