The leaf side
Three leaves on one stem
A large central leaf with a smaller leaf on either side. Their stems meet at the bottom in a shared base.
Above them is KANADA, the year on the left and right, 20 and 26, and at the bottom 1 UNZE 9999 FEINSILBER.
Canada’s coat of arms also bears three maple leaves on one stem, since 1921, first in green and since 1957 in red. There, the sprig stands for all Canadians, according to the country’s heraldic authority.

The tree side
Up the trunk into the crown

The other side shows a maple from below, the view running up the trunk into the branches. Behind it are maple leaves, some as silhouettes, some only in outline.
On the left, in large figures, is the face value, 20 DOLLARS, and at the foot of the trunk a small coat of arms of Liberia and REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA.
The issuing country is Liberia, the coin is made in Germany, and the manufacturer is Kettner Edelmetalle. KANADA on the leaf side names the theme of the design.

Sometimes a single symbol is enough to tell an entire worldview. The 5 Elements Triple Maple Leaves Set 2026 takes Canada's world-famous Maple Leaf and translates it into nature's primal forces: five ounces of fine silver, five colour worlds, one continuous idea. Where the classic Maple Leaf appears plain and silver-white, this edition unfolds a veritable picture book. As a silver rarity with an issue year of 2026 and a mintage of only 50 sets, it ranks among the most coveted pieces in the "Symbolism" series.
Fire, water, air, earth and energy – the design
Each of the five coins shows three artistically overlapping maple leaves beneath the inscription "CANADA". They float against a deep dark background struck with countless tiny maple leaves – a detail that only reveals its full effect when turned in the light. Each specimen takes its own colour path: one leaf trio glows in orange and red like flowing lava, one shimmers icy blue-white, one radiates in cool sky blue, one bears the earthy brown of cracked soil, and the fifth shines in electric violet like lightning in a thunderstorm. The edge, frame, and the inscriptions "1 OUNCE 9999 FINE SILVER" and the year are finely gold-plated.
The value side presents a mighty, gnarled maple tree in full foliage, flanked by the face value "20 DOLLARS". It appears entirely in gold, forming a warm counterpoint to the dark, colourful design side. The contrast is intentional – and it works.
Five elements, five moods, one maple leaf: a set you keep turning into the light.

Elaborately refined in Germany
This edition is based on a regular Triple Maple Leaves minting, which is subsequently refined in Germany by a specialised manufactory exclusively for Kettner Edelmetalle. First, the surface receives its deep dark base tone, then the intricate colour design of the leaves follows, before the gold-plated areas provide the finishing touch. Each of these steps requires precision down to a tenth of a millimetre – and that is precisely why such refinement cannot be reproduced indefinitely.
Strictly limited: a mintage of only 50 pieces
What makes this product so appealing to collectors is its rarity. Such a very low mintage is an absolute exception even among refined collector's mintings. While large bullion series appear in millions of pieces, this edition remains a strictly guarded connoisseur's piece. The interplay of tight limitation and lively demand can develop an attractive value appreciation potential over the years. Experience shows that complete sets are offered less frequently on the collector's market than individual pieces – once owned, they are rarely parted with.
Silver as a collectible and store of value
Silver has accompanied humanity for millennia as a coinage metal and as a symbol of wealth and prestige. Unlike a plain bar, an artfully designed minting tells its own story. Anyone enthusiastic about silver coins with character will find a whole range of extraordinary editions in the "Symbolism" series – from the classic Maple Leaf to colour-refined rarities such as this one.
Furthermore, silver remains a globally traded commodity with stable demand from electronics, solar and medical technology; physical precious metal is also traditionally valued as an inflation hedge and as crisis protection. A pleasant side effect for collectors in Germany: under current law, profits from the sale of physical silver are generally tax-free, provided the holding period of at least one year is observed.
