The elephant
The eldest knows the way.
Elephants live in families. A herd usually consists of related females and their young, led by the matriarch, as a rule the oldest and most experienced. She knows where to find food and water. When danger looms, the herd forms a ring, the young in the middle.
In a study published in 2001, researchers used playback experiments to show that the oldest female’s better ability to discriminate can influence the social knowledge of the whole group. Elephants can communicate through deep calls that lie partly below the range of human hearing and carry a long way.
The trunk is nose and upper lip at once. It lifts a log, and just as well a single piece of straw.

Industrial demand – especially in future technologies such as electronics and solar technology – ensures a solid value base. At the same time, the coin serves as crisis protection, as precious metals retain their intrinsic value when other investments falter.

The High Relief minting uses state-of-the-art technology to achieve a depth effect that would be impossible with conventional coins.
