A majestic bird of prey perches on a weathered branch – the new 1 ounce silver Wedge-Tailed Eagle 2025 is an absolute rarity among silver coins. With a mintage of only 750 pieces worldwide, this coin is among the most exclusive issues of the year!

An ornithological masterpiece in purest silver

The highly detailed depiction of the wedge-tailed eagle is based on the world-famous illustrations by British ornithologist John Gould. Every single feather has been struck with the utmost precision into the gleaming silver surface. The brown plumage shimmers in true-to-nature colors, while the characteristic wedge-shaped tail gives the mighty bird its name. In the background, further members of the species soar through the skies – a scene of breathtaking dynamism.

"The wedge-tailed eagle is Australia's largest bird of prey and a symbol of strength and freedom. This coin captures its majestic appearance perfectly."

Technical perfection meets strict limited mintage

The coin was produced in the highest mint quality Proof. This elaborate manufacturing method ensures mirror-smooth surfaces and razor-sharp details. The privy mark "JG" honors the legendary artist John Gould and makes each coin a numismatic work of art.

With a fine weight of exactly one ounce (31.10 g) of 999 fine silver, this strictly limited issue combines the highest material quality with artistic excellence. The diameter of 40 mm provides ample space for the impressive design.

Why this coin is an extraordinary collectible

The very low mintage makes this silver coin a coveted object for collectors worldwide. Experience shows that such limited issues sell out quickly and develop considerable appreciation potential. Colorized coins in Proof quality in particular are enjoying growing popularity.

  1. The combination of true-to-nature coloring and polished surface creates a fascinating contrast
  2. The elegant case protects your investment and presents the coin in style
  3. As official legal tender of Niue with a face value of 1 dollar, the coin enjoys a government guarantee
  4. The reverse features the portrait of King Charles III – a historic detail for future generations

Silver as a crisis-proof investment

In addition to its collector's value, this collector's coin also offers the benefits of a silver investment. The precious metal has proven itself as a store of value over centuries. Industrial demand, particularly in electronics and solar technology, provides a solid foundation. At the same time, availability is limited – a natural inflation hedge.

Silver permanently retains its physical properties and can serve as crisis protection. After a holding period of at least one year, profits from the sale are tax-free – a further advantage over many other forms of investment.

Secure your specimen of this rarity

The 1 ounce silver Wedge-Tailed Eagle 2025 in Proof is more than a coin – it is a work of art, an investment, and a piece of Australian natural history. With only 750 pieces worldwide, this rarity will not remain available for long.

Whether as the centerpiece of your bird collection, as the start of a new collecting passion, or as a well-considered addition to your precious metals portfolio – this extraordinary issue deserves a place in every discerning collection. The enclosed certificate of authenticity documents the exclusivity of your specimen for generations to come.
