It celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Wedge-Tailed Eagle series and was designed by the renowned engraver John M. Mercanti. With a strict mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide, this coin represents a true rarity and holds enormous appreciation potential.

The wedge-tailed eagle, Australia's largest bird of prey, is depicted on this coin in a breathtaking High Relief. This relief highlights the fine details and impressive appearance of the eagle, creating a fascinating sense of depth. The eagle is shown with outstretched wings extending to the edge of the coin, transitioning into a stylised sunray design. This detail and the patterned background make the coin's design a true work of art.

The coin has a fineness of 999.9/1,000 and weighs one ounce. It is a product of the Perth Mint, one of the world's leading mints, renowned for its high-quality collector's and bullion coins. As official currency with a face value of 100 AUD, it is legal tender in Australia, yet its true value far exceeds its face value.

The 2024 year of issue marks the 10th anniversary of the Wedge-Tailed Eagle coins, and this special edition bears the "P" mint mark of the Perth Mint as a sign of its quality and authenticity. The reverse of the coin features the portrait of King Charles III, lending this Proof coin a regal dignity.

The Proof is the highest possible mint quality a coin can achieve. It is characterised by a mirror-polished background and frosted raised elements that reflect light in a spectacular manner, bringing the design to life. This gold coin is therefore not only an investment in physical gold, but also a work of art that captivates collectors and connoisseurs alike.

As part of the Wedge-Tailed Eagle series, which has been celebrated for its quality and beauty for a decade, this coin offers a unique combination of craftsmanship, history, and collector's value. The low mintage and exclusive High Relief minting make it a highly sought-after object for collectors and investors seeking a coin with genuine rarity value and long-term appreciation potential.

The gold from which this coin was minted is a stable and proven store of value for over 6,000 years. It has never had a value of zero and is recognised as a currency worldwide. These qualities make gold a valuable addition to any collection or as part of a long-term investment strategy.

The 1 oz Gold Wedge Tailed Eagle 2024 PP High Relief is more than just a coin – it is a piece of history, a symbol of enduring value, and an investment in the future. Secure this masterpiece of coin minting now and own a piece of gold that will never lose its lustre.
