Wolf 2025, 1 ounce of fine silver, reverse

On the reverse the wolf growls before fir trees, and on the obverse it sits on a rocky ledge. Its time of the year is spring, when the pups are born.

Spring · The wolf

In spring the pups are born.

Wolves usually mate in late February or early March. After about 63 days, most often four to six pups are born, in late April or early May.

“A wolf pack is a family of wolves”: as a rule the parents, their pups and the yearlings from the previous year, usually five to ten animals. At 10 to 22 months most of the young leave to seek a territory of their own and a partner.

Wolves pick up the scent of other wolves from up to two kilometres away. An average wolf with an established territory covers 5 to 30 kilometres in one night. Its typical gait is the straight-line trot: the hind paw steps exactly into the print of the front paw.

In 2000, for the first time in a long while, a pack with at least four pups was confirmed in the Muskau Heath in Lusatia.

On the reverse, a romantic scene unfolds: a wolf, majestically perched on a rock, howling at the moon – an image of timeless wildness and untamed freedom.

Why this silver coin enriches your portfolio

As a seasoned collector, you know: limitation is the key to value appreciation. With a mintage of only 1,000 pieces, this wolf coin is among the rarest silver coins of 2025. The combination of a native design, German origin, and extreme rarity creates ideal conditions for positive performance.

"The wolf returns to German forests – and finds its place in the collections of savvy investors. This coin combines nature conservation with wealth preservation in a unique way."

Technical perfection down to the last detail

With a fine weight of exactly one troy ounce (31.10 grams) of pure silver (999.9/1,000 fineness), this coin corresponds precisely to one ounce of the precious metal. The generous diameter of 40 mm provides ample room for the richly detailed design. Despite the symbolic face value of 20 dollars, the true value of this rare collector's coin lies far above it – and is expected to rise further due to the extreme limitation.

  1. Tax-free profits after a one-year holding period
  2. Physical ownership with high liquidity
  3. Independent of digital systems
  4. An investment across generations
  5. A crisis-proof tangible asset with industrial use

An investment in rarity and beauty

This wolf coin is more than just an investment – it is a statement. While silver serves as an inflation hedge and crisis protection, this special minting additionally offers the appeal of absolute rarity. The very low mintage makes it a sought-after object among connoisseurs.

Silver has proven itself as a reliable store of value for centuries. From ancient civilizations to modern industry – the white metal retains its intrinsic value. The strength of physical precious metals is particularly evident in times of economic uncertainty.

Your chance for an extraordinary collector's piece

The Native Animals series from Kettner Edelmetalle has already made a name for itself among collectors. The wolf as a powerful symbol of the wilderness, minted in purest silver with a worldwide mintage of only 1,000 pieces – this combination promises a promising future for far-sighted collectors.
