The elephant

The eldest knows the way.

Elephants live in families. A herd usually consists of related females and their young, led by the matriarch, as a rule the oldest and most experienced. She knows where to find food and water. When danger looms, the herd forms a ring, the young in the middle.

In a study published in 2001, researchers used playback experiments to show that the oldest female’s better ability to discriminate can influence the social knowledge of the whole group. Elephants can communicate through deep calls that lie partly below the range of human hearing and carry a long way.

The trunk is nose and upper lip at once. It lifts a log, and just as well a single piece of straw.

Why Invest in Silver?

Silver has long been recognised as a store of value and investment product. It not only offers a safe haven in times of economic uncertainty, but also an excellent opportunity to diversify your portfolio. Silver is in high demand in industry, particularly in electronics, solar technology, and medical technology. This industrial demand, coupled with limited availability and restricted supply, contributes to long-term value stability. Silver is also an excellent inflation hedge and serves as a medium of exchange, especially in smaller transactions or during times of currency instability.
