Royal Canadian Mint
The same leaf, in silver since 1988.

You are looking at the side with the maple leaf.
The maple leaf was designed by the engraver Walter Ott for the first Gold Maple Leaf of 1979. According to the Royal Canadian Mint, it has remained unchanged ever since.
At its launch, the Silver Maple Leaf was, according to the Mint, the world’s first bullion coin made of 99.99 per cent silver.
9999
This is how it appears beside the leaf: 99.99 per cent fine silver.

What lies in the details

Below the large leaf sits a small maple leaf, micro-engraved by laser. At its centre is the number 26 for the year of issue, visible only under magnification.
Every die bears this mark. The Mint captures it under a microscope and stores it in encrypted form. A verification device later reads it like a fingerprint and matches the coin to its die.
The fine lines in the field are machined on the master tooling to micrometre precision, so that they turn out the same on every coin. The width and spacing of the lines create a pattern that refracts the light and is characteristic of this coin.
A leaf through the decades
1908
A home in Ottawa
The Mint in Ottawa is ready in November 1907. Its head, James Bonar, nevertheless waits until the security fence is in place. Striking therefore only begins on 2 January 1908.
1965
The leaf on the flag
On 15 February, Canada’s new national flag with the maple leaf is raised on Parliament Hill for the first time. Maple leaves have appeared on Canadian cent coins ever since the 1850s.
2018
MINTSHIELD
Since the 2018 issue, every Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin has had an invisible surface protection. According to the Mint, it reduces the occurrence of white spots and alters neither purity nor composition.
2024
A new portrait
Since the 2024 issue, the Maple Leaf bullion coins have borne the effigy of King Charles III.
The motif
Leaf and portrait

- The sugar maple
- Its sap is particularly rich in sugar, which is why maple syrup producers value it.
- Two languages
- CANADA appears above the leaf. Along the rim, the weight and purity are given in English and French: FINE SILVER and ARGENT PUR.
- King Charles III
- The portrait was created by Steven Rosati of Montreal. The Mint had invited more than 350 artists for the task.
- Facing left
- Elizabeth II faced right, the King faces left: by long-standing tradition, the direction of the gaze changes with each monarch.
A country has placed the maple leaf on its flag.
You hold it in silver.
Since 1996, the maple has also been Canada’s national arboreal emblem. Ten species of maple are native to the country, and one of their leaves accompanies you with this coin.

Why Invest in Silver Now?
While the world is shaped by economic uncertainties, physical silver offers exactly what smart investors are looking for: stability, value preservation, and genuine inflation hedge. Industrial demand for silver is virtually exploding – from the electronics industry to the solar industry to medical technology. At the same time, natural reserves are becoming scarcer. An equation that, in the long run, can only point in one direction.
"Silver is the poor man's gold" – yet this old adage does not do justice to the true significance of the precious metal. Rather, silver is the intelligent complement for any well-thought-out portfolio.
The Maple Leaf 2026 – Perfection in Every Detail
Every single coin in this 25-coin set impresses with its flawless minting quality. With a diameter of exactly 38 millimeters and a fine weight of one ounce (31.1035 g), it meets international standards for bullion coins. The iconic maple leaf on the obverse is framed by the inscriptions "CANADA", "9999", and "FINE SILVER" – a promise of quality understood worldwide.
The reverse features the new portrait of King Charles III, flanked by the face value of 5 Canadian dollars. This official status as legal tender underscores the credibility of this form of investment.
Your Personal Crisis Protection in Its Purest Form
In times when currencies lose purchasing power and digital assets fluctuate volatilely, physical silver offers genuine crisis protection. Unlike paper money, silver possesses intrinsic value – it is tangible, indestructible, and has been recognized as a store of value for millennia.
- Guaranteed Liquidity: Silver Maple Leaf coins are accepted worldwide and can be converted into cash at any time
- Perfect Denomination: With 1-ounce coins, you remain flexible – ideal for smaller transactions or gradual sales

An often underestimated advantage: profits from the sale of silver coins are completely tax-free after a holding period of just twelve months. No complicated calculations, no capital gains tax – your profit belongs 100% to you. An unbeatable advantage compared to many other forms of investment.
With 777.50 grams of pure silver in this investor package, you secure substantial value. The high demand for the Maple Leaf series, combined with the limited mintage of the 2026 vintage, makes these coins a sought-after investment object with potential.
Silver is more than just an investment – it is a statement for financial independence and forward-thinking action.
Take advantage of this opportunity now and secure this exceptional 25-coin set of the Silver Maple Leaf 2026.
