America's Presidents in Gold: 250 Years of History in One Collection

Four men shaped a nation, a fifth leads it today. With this collection, you bring the history of the United States home in precious metal, from George Washington, the first president, to Donald Trump, the 47th US president. Four gold strikes and a color-finished silver coin featuring Mount Rushmore come together to form a set that could hardly be more fitting for 2026. On July 4, 1776, the USA declared its independence, and this year marks the 250th anniversary.

In total, the collection contains 16.14 grams of precious metal. Here, gold and silver come together, and the set is suitable both as an investment and for collectors.

These Five Coins Await You

  • Gold George Washington Coin: 1/1,000 ounce fine gold (999/1,000), issuing country Republic of Liberia, face value 12 dollars, limited to a maximum of 50,000 pieces. It comes on a blister card featuring the famous portrait of the first president.
  • Gold Thomas Jefferson Coin: 1/1,000 ounce fine gold, Liberia, 12 dollars, mintage of 50,000 pieces. It is dedicated to the principal author of the Declaration of Independence.
  • Gold Abraham Lincoln Coin: 1/1,000 ounce fine gold, Liberia, 12 dollars, maximum of 50,000 pieces. It honors the 16th president, who led the Union through the Civil War.
  • 1/2 ounce Silver Mount Rushmore 2026: 15.55 g fine silver 999.9, Cook Islands, 2 dollars, 38.61 mm, minted by B.H. Mayer in Proof quality, mintage of only 1,500 pieces, in a case.
  • 0.5 g Gold Donald Trump 2026: Fine gold 999.9 in Proof quality, limited to 5,000 pieces.

The Founding Fathers as Small Gold Coins

The three small gold strikes belong to the "Personalities" series. Each blister card shows a president in a classic official portrait against a waving US flag. The gold piece itself is rectangular. On the obverse, you see the star-spangled banner with the respective president's signature as a facsimile. The other side bears the national coat of arms of Liberia with the motto "The Love of Liberty Brought Us Here." The back of each card lists all the numismatic data.

Every schoolchild knows Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln. Together with Theodore Roosevelt, their faces were carved into the rock of the Black Hills.

Mount Rushmore in Watercolor Style

This monument is the centerpiece of the collection. Between 1927 and 1941, under the direction of sculptor Gutzon Borglum, the rock monument featuring the four presidents was created in South Dakota. However, the silver coin from the "World Landmarks" series does not depict it as a classic relief, but in a modern watercolor style. The colors flow across the silver as if they had just been applied. In the background, a fine paper texture shimmers, and birds circle in the sky. The value side features King Charles III. With a mintage of only 1,500 pieces, it is the rarest coin in the set.

Donald Trump, the 47th President, in Fine Gold

The 0.5 g gold coin brings the series into the present. The inscription "2026 • 9999 FINE GOLD" runs around the frontal portrait of Donald Trump, with "MAKE GOLD GREAT AGAIN" at the bottom edge. The coin is struck in Proof quality, meaning it has a mirrored background and a frosted design. It is limited to 5,000 pieces and contains more gold than any other coin in the collection. This way, the set also captures Trump's second term in office.

Why Precious Metal? Values That Outlast Generations

Gold is humanity's oldest currency. It has survived empires, kings, and countless paper currencies and is still valued today as a store of value. When politics are uncertain and prices rise, investors look for a tangible asset that exists independently of banks and the printing press. Silver has served humans just as long as a coinage metal and is the ideal complement to gold.

  • Protection against inflation and crises: Physical precious metal has long been considered a proven way to preserve purchasing power over long periods.
  • Globally recognized: Gold and silver can be traded anywhere in the world.
  • Limited mintages: Each coin is limited, ranging from 1,500 to 50,000 pieces.
  • Tax-attractive: Profits from the sale of physical gold and silver are generally tax-free in Germany after a holding period of one year.

Collection or Single Coin: What Suits You?

Anyone who primarily wants as much gold as possible per euro is best served by classic bullion coins such as the Krugerrand or Maple Leaf in larger denominations. This collection follows a different approach. It combines genuine fine gold and fine silver with a cohesive theme rarely found in this form. The small gold coins are an easy entry point. The Proof editions are aimed at discerning collectors. Together, they form a harmonious ensemble for the display case. The set is also a gift of real value, for example for USA fans, history enthusiasts, or for the 2026 anniversary.

Five coins, two precious metals, and 250 years of American history: this collection is one you'll not only want to own, but also show off.

Mintages are limited. Secure the presidents in gold and silver while they are still available.
