Silver set · one ounce each

Gold and silver on the NileFive silver coins.

Egypt, silver set of five coins, the five coins with their stand

Five coloured, partly gilded coins, with the pyramids on every back.

In ancient Egypt

Flesh and bones of the gods

To the Egyptians, gold and silver were more than metal: they could stand for the flesh and the bones of the gods, for the sun and the moon.

Gold was linked with the gods and the deified dead because it lasts; silver, for its pale colour, with the moon and with ritual purity.

Giza · wonder of the ancient world

Built for eternity

The Pyramid of Khufu is the only surviving wonder of the ancient world. Its ancient name was Akhet Khufu, “the Horizon of Khufu”.

In 2013 a team led by Pierre Tallet found the oldest inscribed papyri at the port of Wadi el-Jarf on the Red Sea, among them the logbook of Inspector Merer. His crew of some 40 men belonged to the team “The Uraeus of Khufu Is Its Prow”.

Some 4,600 years ago Merer’s boats carried limestone blocks from the quarries of Tura across the Nile to the pyramid.

The builders of the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure lived in the settlement of Heit el-Ghurab. The state supplied them with fish, fowl, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.

The gold of the pharaohs

Gold from Nubia and the Eastern Desert

The Egyptian word for gold, nbw, is reflected in the ancient name of Nubia.

Egyptian Museum · Turin

The map of the gold mines

Around 1150 BC a map of the Wadi Hammamat was made for a quarrying expedition of Ramesses IV, one of the earliest known maps. According to the geologist James Harrell, it bears labels such as “hills where gold is found” and “hills of gold and silver”.

It is regarded as the oldest known geological map; the next known one only appears in the sources some 29 centuries later.

Silver and the moon

For long, silver was worth more than gold

Temple inscriptions from much of Egypt’s history point to this.

In the land of the pharaohs

Five faces of ancient Egypt

The pieces of this world show Tutankhamun, Nefertiti, Cleopatra, Hatshepsut and Ramesses II. Tutankhamun’s tomb was found largely intact.

Signs of the Nile

What the signs meant

The same signs return on the pieces of this world. This is how major museums describe their meaning in ancient Egypt.

  • Scarab

    Scarab

Scarabs with the name and title of their owner often served as seals: their underside was pressed into a lump of clay.

    On this piece

  • Ankh

    Ankh

As a hieroglyph the ankh wrote the words “live” and “life”; as a symbol it stood for life.

    On this piece

  • Eye of Ra

    Eye of Ra

In the myth the Eye went away and only returned once wine, music and dance had calmed it; in this way the Egyptians explained the yearly journey of the sun to the south and back.

On the Eye of Ra bar

  • Wedjat eye

    Wedjat eye

“Wedjat” means “the one that is sound”: in the myth Seth injured or stole the eye of Horus, and Thoth restored it.

    On a pyramid from Djibouti

  • Uraeus

    Uraeus

The rearing cobra with its flared hood was worn on the forehead and was regarded as a sign of protection.

On the death mask from Liberia

  • Cartouche

    Cartouche

In hieroglyphic inscriptions the oval surrounds the names of royal persons.

On the coin of the Perth Mint

Minting and finish

Colour and gold on silver

Partial gilding usually lays a thin layer of 24-carat gold on the silver; colour is added in layers with UV printers.

Five coins of one ounce each, with the pyramids, the sun disc and the ankh on their backs.

Gold and silver on the Nile

Gold for permanence, silver for the moon: what the Egyptians saw in their metals, these bars and coins carry on.

"The combination of the highest minting quality, fascinating design, and extreme limitation makes this set one of the most sought-after collector's items of 2025."

The Advantages of Silver as an Investment

Silver impresses with its versatility. While industrial demand continues to grow steadily – especially in future technologies such as solar power and electronics – supply remains limited. This strictly limited edition combines the intrinsic value of the precious metal with the collector's value of an extremely rare coinage.

  1. Tax-free profits after a one-year holding period
  2. High liquidity and worldwide acceptance
  3. Physical ownership as protection against systemic risks
  4. Historically proven store of value
  5. Perfect addition to any diversified portfolio

A Legacy for Generations

This exclusive set is an excellent heirloom piece. The fascination with ancient Egypt is timeless, and the limitation to only 50 pieces makes it a true treasure for future generations. Unlike paper assets, silver retains its physical value – regardless of economic turbulence.

Act Now – Before It's Too Late

With such a low number of pieces, quick action is required. Experience shows that such rarities sell out within the shortest amount of time. The appreciation potential often becomes apparent just a few months after release, when collectors search in vain for available pieces.

The combination of fascinating design, the highest minting quality, and extreme rarity makes this set a must-have for every discerning collector. The elaborate finishing with partial gilding and coloring underscores the exclusive character of this edition.
