The designs
The pandas from 2020 to 2026
The Panda has been made in gold since 1982 and in silver since 1983, and since 2016 in grams instead of ounces. The designs of 2019, 2021, 2024 and 2025 show a panda mother with her young. Here are the issues we carry.

The panda
At home in the bamboo, high in the mountains.
Giant pandas live in a few mountain ranges in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu, in damp, misty mountain forests with dense bamboo, at an altitude of around 1,500 to 3,000 metres.
Around 99 per cent of their food is bamboo, and a panda spends 10 to 16 hours a day finding and eating it. Its “sixth finger” helps with this: not a finger, but an enlarged bone in the wrist that grips like a thumb.
A panda cub is born pink, hairless and blind. It then weighs 85 to 142 grams and is about the size of a stick of butter. Adult pandas mostly live alone and communicate through scent marks and calls.
In silver, 30 grams
As a silver bullion coin, the Panda carries a face value of 10 Yuan. Since 2016 the coin has weighed 30 grams instead of one ounce.

The Temple of Heaven
On the other side stands the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.
There the coin shows the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, with the name of the country in the ring above it and the year below.
The hall is round and has three tiers, with a conical roof. Here the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for good harvests. The complex was completed in 1420 and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.

What the coin bears
The side with the panda bears the weight, the fineness and the face value in Yuan. The issuer is the People’s Bank of China, the country’s central bank.
On this coin it is 10 Yuan.

A Masterpiece of Minting Art Meets Solid Investment
Year after year, the China Panda series captivates with changing, lovingly crafted designs. The 2026 edition shows two pandas in close bonding – a symbol of harmony and permanence that perfectly matches the philosophy of a long-term precious metals investment. These annually changing designs make each edition a sought-after collector's item, with particularly popular years even trading at considerable collector premiums.
The silver coin impresses with its remarkable size of 40 mm in diameter. In this substantial dimension, the fine details of the minting come into their own perfectly. Every hair in the panda's fur, every bamboo stalk is crisply recognizable – a testament to the highest minting quality.
Why the China Panda Silver Coin Is a Wise Investment
As the only international bullion coin measured in the metric system, the Panda series occupies a special position. While many other silver coins are minted in ounces, China relies on grams – a unique feature that makes the coin even more interesting.
"Silver has proven itself as a store of value over millennia. In times of economic uncertainty, it offers a reliable haven for your wealth."
Industrial demand for silver is continuously rising. Whether in electronics, solar technology, or medicine – the white precious metal has become indispensable. This real demand gives silver an intrinsic value that goes far beyond mere speculation. At the same time, natural deposits are limited, which ensures long-term value stability.
Tax-Free Profits and Optimal Liquidity
A particular advantage: profits from the sale of your Silver China Panda coin are completely tax-free after a minimum holding period of one year. This makes it an attractive building block for your private retirement planning. The high liquidity also allows you to access your investment at any time.
Compared to gold, silver is significantly more affordable, which also enables private investors with a smaller budget to invest in precious metals. In doing so, you need not sacrifice quality in any way – the 999 fineness guarantees the highest purity.
Perfectly Protected for Generations
Your 30g Silver China Panda 2026 is delivered in a protective coin capsule. This preserves the Brilliant Uncirculated quality for years. Silver is by nature extremely durable and permanently retains its physical properties – an asset you can confidently pass on to future generations.
- Annually changing, collector-friendly designs
- Potential for value appreciation in popular years of issue
- Tax-free profits after a one-year holding period
- Perfect denomination for flexible investment strategies
- Worldwide recognition and high liquidity
Your Chance for a Piece of Chinese Coin History
