Eye of Ra
In the myth the Eye went away and only returned once wine, music and dance had calmed it; in this way the Egyptians explained the yearly journey of the sun to the south and back.
On this piece

Three small rectangles of gold, each just 15 x 8.5 millimeters in size, each 999.9 fine: that is the essence of this set. Together, the three minted bars carry 0.47 grams of fine gold – substance that can be valued, traded, and sold anywhere in the world. The Egyptian theme gives the set its distinctive character, but the real reason to buy is the metal itself.
No pictorial program from antiquity resonates as powerfully as the Egyptian one. The first minted bar depicts the famous death mask of Tutankhamun with the nemes headdress and the raised uraeus cobra above the forehead. The second presents the Udjat, the Eye of Horus, framed by a finely engraved field of hieroglyphs, ankh symbols, and scarabs – along with the national emblem of the Republic of Liberia. The third bar belongs to Cleopatra: braided wig, cobra diadem, a wide collar with a winged scarab. All three editions carry the face value (25 dollars) as well as the markings 1/200 OZ and 9999 FINE GOLD directly in the die.
For Proof quality, dies and blanks are elaborately polished, and each strike is produced with multiple impressions. The result: deep, mirror-black surfaces from which frosted reliefs stand out in sharp contrast. At a format of just a few millimeters, this is a true feat of craftsmanship – the contours of Cleopatra's collar or the row of eyelashes on the Eye of Horus remain clearly legible despite the miniaturization. Please handle the bars only by the edge or with gloves; in the included case, the surface remains permanently undamaged.
While many editions from Liberia are issued in mintages of several thousand pieces, this set is limited to 250 pieces worldwide. Anyone looking for a collector's coin with a clearly limited number of pieces gets both in one case here: a very low mintage and minted investment gold. This very scarcity is precisely why small gold editions with three-digit limitations are regularly sought after on the secondary market.
Gold is the oldest currency in the world and has outlasted every paper money system. Its value has never been zero, because it possesses an intrinsic value of its own – the metal is scarce, imperishable, and recognized as a means of payment around the globe. It is no coincidence that central banks hold enormous gold reserves while simultaneously issuing fiat money. For you, this set means high liquidity, resale value at any time, and a counter-value that tracks the gold price. Profits from the sale of physical gold are generally tax-free after a holding period of at least one year; as investment gold, it is also traded without VAT. And since many investors start with small positions: small amounts of gold add up over the years to a considerable fortune. Whether for a christening, a birthday, or a wedding, this is no small gift, but a genuine gold investment.
Despite its ceremonial design, what you are acquiring here is full-fledged investment gold: minted fine gold whose value tracks the gold price – and which, even after millennia, has not lost its luster.
Three bars, one year of issue, 250 pieces. Anyone who chooses the Symbols of Eternal Power secures pure fine gold in the highest minting quality – and an asset that can be passed down from generation to generation.
