The constellation in the sky

The knot of the Fishes.

Two fish, joined at their tails by a cord. Where the cord is knotted stands the star Alrescha.

Today the vernal equinox point lies in Pisces, the position of the sun at the start of spring. More than 2,000 years ago it still lay in Aries.

The path of the sun

Twelve sections of a year.

Pisces is the twelfth of the twelve sections.

Seen from the Earth, the sun travels once around the sky against the stars over the course of a year, along the ecliptic.

The signs divide this path into twelve equal sections of 30 degrees each, counted from the vernal equinox point, the position of the sun at the start of spring. The constellations of the same names differ in size.

Because the Earth’s axis slowly turns like a spinning top, once in about 26,000 years, the vernal equinox point has moved by about 30 degrees since the Greek Hipparchus. Signs and constellations are therefore offset today by about one constellation.

  • Growth potential: The tight limitation combined with the popular design can support the potential for value appreciation over the years.
  • Investment character: Physical investment gold for a small entry point – the value is primarily determined by the fine gold content and the development of the gold price.
  • Design: Two artistically engraved fish circle one another in yin-yang-like harmony against a star-studded night sky; the reverse design combines the four elements around a sun-and-moon depiction.
  • Material / Fineness: 999.9/1,000 fine gold, fine weight 0.16 g, diameter 14.00 mm, face value 25 Dollars.
  • Manufacturer: Exclusive minting by Kettner Edelmetalle.

Small in diameter, yet of genuine substance: with the 1/200 oz Zodiac Pisces 2026, you acquire physical gold with a purity of 999.9/1,000. Within just 14 millimeters, what truly matters is concentrated here – pure fine gold, whose value is determined by the gold price. This gold coin joins the coveted gold coins of the popular Zodiac series and bears the official face value of 25 Dollars of the Republic of Liberia. Despite the personal astrological occasion, one thing remains central: you are holding full-fledged investment gold in your hands.

A design between a starry sky and the four elements

The obverse shows two finely engraved fish circling each other in opposite directions, forming a harmonious circle. Detailed scales, elegantly spread fins, and a sculpturally worked, raised relief make the design appear almost three-dimensional. On the left, a deep black starry sky, and on the right, a golden starry sky with fine stars surround the fish. At the bottom edge sits the Pisces symbol on a small medallion, surrounded by the inscriptions "PISCES", "INTUITION & DREAMS", as well as the poetic inscription "The stars show the way, but fate lies in your hands".

The reverse is divided into four quadrants representing the four elements: water with waves, fire with flickering flames, earth with mountains and vegetation, and air with clouds and wind. At the center sits a sun-and-moon depiction with two faces – a symbol of the eternal duality of the universe. The design is complemented by the surrounding inscription "TWELVE SIGNS · FOUR ELEMENTS · ONE UNIVERSE", the face value "25 DOLLARS", the issuer "Republic of Liberia", as well as the indication "1/200 FINE GOLD 2026". The combination of satin-finished and high-gloss surfaces brings every detail flawlessly to life in Proof quality. For those born under Pisces (roughly February 19 to March 20), the design offers a particularly personal touch – but the true substance remains the fine gold.

Investment gold in a small denomination

Gold is the oldest currency in the world and has been a proven store of value for over 6,000 years. It has outlasted all other currencies, possesses an intrinsic value that can never fall to zero, and is recognized worldwide as a means of payment and exchange. This very durability is also embodied in this small coin. Although such an issue is often classified among collector's coins, the investment aspect predominates here: small amounts of gold can be built up step by step over the years into considerable wealth, are tradable at any time, and are easily resellable thanks to high liquidity.

Anyone who regularly acquires small units of fine gold builds wealth in manageable steps – while at the same time investing in a value that will outlast generations.

As a scarce commodity with limited supply, gold has always been considered a solid inflation hedge and a proven means of crisis protection. Profits from the sale of physical gold are generally tax-free after a minimum holding period of one year – a noticeable advantage of this form of investment. If you would like to bring joy to a loved one on the occasion of a christening, birthday, or other special event, with this Pisces coin you are giving not just an attractive design, but genuine, tangible investment gold.

Fractional gold in comparison

Compared to larger units such as a 1/10 or 1/4 ounce, the 1/200 oz offers a particularly low-threshold entry into physical gold investment. The percentage premium on the pure material value is naturally higher for such small denominations – but in return you receive a globally coveted format that can be flexibly bought and sold. Combined with the strictly limited mintage of 5,000 pieces and the Proof quality, this results in an extremely attractive small rarity. The technical specifications at a glance:
