Tahitian Women – a Masterpiece in Purest Fine Gold

The gold coin "Paul Gauguin – Tahitian Women" brings together a masterpiece of art history and the substance of physical fine gold. The design is based on Gauguin's South Seas painting from 1891, which today ranks among the icons of modern painting. The French painter, celebrated for his vibrant depictions of Polynesian life, left a lasting impression with this work. On the blister card, the scene glows in warm colours – yet while the design is the personal touch, the true substance is the precious metal.

Obverse and Reverse in Detail

The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Chad, flanked by a goat and a lion, surrounded by the inscriptions "RÉPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" for the issuing country, "3000 FRANCS CFA" for the face value, and "999/1000 FINE GOLD", confirming the high fineness. The reverse is entirely dedicated to Gauguin's "Tahitian Women". In this way, the coin combines sovereign minting authority with artistic appeal.

Recognised Investment Gold in a Small Denomination

The value of this coin is based primarily on its fine gold content and moves in line with the gold price. Despite its artistic design, this is not a mere souvenir but a full-fledged, physical investment gold piece. Small gold coins like this one are excellently suited to building wealth step by step: piece by piece, pure fine gold accumulates over the years into a considerable tangible asset. Thanks to its high liquidity, gold can also be traded worldwide at any time and resold without complication.

Preserving Value for Millennia

Gold is the oldest currency in the world and has served as a proven store of value for over 6,000 years. It has never had a value of zero, possesses an inherent, intrinsic value, and is recognised around the globe as a means of payment and exchange. It is not without reason that central banks hold vast gold reserves to support the stability of the financial system. As an inflation hedge and reliable crisis protection, physical gold preserves your purchasing power when confidence in paper money wavers.

Your Advantages at a Glance

  • Physical fine gold with 999/1,000 fineness – substantial and value-retaining.
  • Strictly limited mintage of only 50,000 pieces from the house of Valcambi.
  • High liquidity: tradable worldwide and convertible into cash at any time.
  • An ideal entry point into physical gold investment with a manageable capital outlay.
  • Value preservation that can be passed down through generations.

Gift Investment Gold with a Personal Touch

Profits from the sale of physical gold are generally tax-free after a holding period of at least one year. Anyone wishing to give a lasting gift for a birthday, wedding or christening gives real investment gold with this coin – a genuine asset rather than a fleeting token. Once again, gold bridges the gap between cultural beauty and crisis-resistant substance: minted fine gold whose value tracks the gold price and endures over time.
