Noah’s Ark 2026
A morning at Ararat, struck in silver.

Design side: the ark on the waves, in the foreground a dove with an olive branch, behind it a mountain with two peaks and the rising sun, around it NOAH’S ARK and an Armenian inscription
The mountain
Visible from Yerevan
Anyone who comes to Yerevan can see Ararat rising in the distance. Many houses in the city are built of pink tuff, compacted volcanic ash. At sunrise and sunset, their colour glows brightest.
The mountain is over 5,100 metres high and today lies in Turkey. Beside its main summit stands Little Ararat. On the coin, too, the mountain has two peaks.
The design side
The dove flies towards the ark

In the centre, the ark drifts on the waves, a ship of planks with small windows and a superstructure like a house. From the left comes the dove with outstretched wings, an olive branch in its beak.
Behind it, the sun rises between the two peaks, and its crown of rays fills the whole upper part. Along the top runs the Armenian inscription, and at the bottom right stands NOAH’S ARK.
The design is by Eduard Kurghinyan. It refers to the account of the ark coming to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
The value side
The mountain appears twice on every coin

The value side bears the national coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia. An eagle and a lion support the shield, and at its centre, as the Constitution lays down, stand Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark.
So every Noah’s Ark coin bears Ararat twice: small in the coat of arms and large as a landscape behind the ark.
The coat of arms goes back to a design by the architect Alexander Tamanian and the painter Hakob Kojoyan.
The first bullion coin of the Central Bank of Armenia
It is issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, which calls the ark the most expressive symbol of Armenian history. In Armenia, the coin is legal tender at its face value.
It is minted in Germany, by Geiger Edelmetalle AG. To the left of the coat of arms is the mint mark, LEV, to the right the weight and fineness, and below the coat of arms the face value in drams and the year.

An Investment with Biblical Dimensions
When you hold this extraordinary silver coin in your hands, you immediately sense its special aura. The detailed depiction of Noah's Ark navigating stormy waves through the floodwaters tells a story of survival, hope, and new beginnings. In the background, the snow-capped Mount Ararat rises majestically – that legendary place where Noah's journey came to its happy end.
The artful design shows the Ark as a traditional wooden ship with its characteristic house structure. Every single plank is visible, the waves seem almost alive. Particularly impressive: the dove of peace in the foreground, whose outstretched wings and the olive branch in its beak herald the end of the Great Flood. This masterful minting combines matte, satin surfaces with polished elements – a visual feast for collectors and investors alike.
Why the Noah's Ark Series Enriches Your Portfolio
Since 2011, the Noah's Ark series has captivated investors worldwide. The Armenian Central Bank has created a true classic with this coin series, distinguished by its consistent design and the highest minting quality. This continuity makes the series a reliable building block for long-term wealth accumulation.
"Noah's Ark symbolises not only biblical history, but also the enduring nature of silver as a store of value through all the storms of time."
Technical Perfection Meets Emotional Depth
With exactly 311.03 grams of pure silver and a face value of 5,000 Armenian dram, this coin is legal tender in Armenia. Yet its true value lies far beyond that. Industrial demand for silver is continuously rising – particularly in future technologies such as solar technology, electronics, and medical technology. These fundamental factors make silver an indispensable raw material with limited availability.
- Tax advantages: After a one-year holding period, profits from the sale are completely tax-free
- High liquidity: Globally recognised and tradeable at any time
- Physical ownership: Real silver in your hands – no paper promise
- Generational wealth: Perfectly suited for passing on to children and grandchildren
- Crisis protection: Proven protection in uncertain times
The Obverse – Armenia's Proud Heritage
The value side presents the Armenian coat of arms in all its splendour. The double-headed eagle and the majestic lion flanking the heraldic shield symbolise strength and permanence. The inscription "REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA" frames this imposing depiction, while the technical details such as "10 Oz Ag 999" and the year of issue 2026 underscore its value.
Your Opportunity for Sustainable Wealth Protection
In times when paper money is devalued by inflation, physical silver offers genuine protection. Unlike fiat currencies, silver possesses an intrinsic value derived from its unique physical properties. The 10 oz Noah's Ark combines several advantages: it is large enough for substantial investments, yet still manageable and easy to store.
The Brilliant Uncirculated quality and secure packaging in a protective coin capsule guarantee that your investment remains in perfect condition for decades to come. This transforms a smart investment decision into an asset that outlasts generations – just like the story of Noah's Ark itself, which has inspired people and given hope for thousands of years.
