The designs
The pandas from 2020 to 2026
The Panda has been made in gold since 1982 and in silver since 1983, and since 2016 in grams instead of ounces. The designs of 2019, 2021, 2024 and 2025 show a panda mother with her young. Here are the issues we carry.

The panda
At home in the bamboo, high in the mountains.
Giant pandas live in a few mountain ranges in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu, in damp, misty mountain forests with dense bamboo, at an altitude of around 1,500 to 3,000 metres.
Around 99 per cent of their food is bamboo, and a panda spends 10 to 16 hours a day finding and eating it. Its “sixth finger” helps with this: not a finger, but an enlarged bone in the wrist that grips like a thumb.
A panda cub is born pink, hairless and blind. It then weighs 85 to 142 grams and is about the size of a stick of butter. Adult pandas mostly live alone and communicate through scent marks and calls.

The Temple of Heaven
On the other side stands the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.
There the coin shows the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, with the name of the country in the ring above it and the year below.
The hall is round and has three tiers, with a conical roof. Here the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for good harvests. The complex was completed in 1420 and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.

What the coin bears
The side with the panda bears the weight, the fineness and the face value in Yuan, as the image shows. The issuer is the People’s Bank of China, the country’s central bank.

Gold - The Proven Investment
Gold has been a stable and proven store of value for over 6,000 years. It has never had a value of zero and protects you from loss of purchasing power. As the world's oldest currency and "God's money," gold is exempt from VAT and has been shining for millennia. It is used as a hedge against inflation and currency risks and has an intrinsic value that is recognized worldwide as currency.
Gold - A Safe Haven in Uncertain Times
Gold offers protection against political and economic crises and has a low correlation to other asset classes such as stocks and bonds. It can be used as a medium of exchange in times of currency instability and retains its physical properties over time.
The world's largest gold holders are the central banks, which at the same time means that they no longer trust their own product, fiat money.
Gold can serve as long-term retirement provision and pass wealth from generation to generation. It serves as a store of value when confidence in fiat money fluctuates or declines. The availability and supply of gold are limited, which contributes to the stability of its value.
Conclusion
The 15g Gold China Panda coin is an excellent choice for investors and collectors alike. It offers a stable-value and crisis-proof form of investment while also representing a piece of Chinese culture and craftsmanship.
