Zodiac sign Aries 2026
Aries,the first of twelve signs.

The constellation in the sky
Hamal, the lamb.
The brightest star of Aries is called Hamal, after the Arabic word for lamb.
In Greek times the sun stood in Aries at the start of spring. That is why the zodiac begins with Aries.

The path of the sun
Twelve sections of a year.
Aries is the first of the twelve sections.
Seen from the Earth, the sun travels once around the sky against the stars over the course of a year, along the ecliptic.
The signs divide this path into twelve equal sections of 30 degrees each, counted from the vernal equinox point, the position of the sun at the start of spring. The constellations of the same names differ in size.
Because the Earth’s axis slowly turns like a spinning top, once in about 26,000 years, the vernal equinox point has moved by about 30 degrees since the Greek Hipparchus. Signs and constellations are therefore offset today by about one constellation.
For more than 2,500 years
In cuneiform, in books, on clocks.
- BabylonThe cuneiform series MUL.APIN, preserved in copies from the 7th century BC onwards, names 17 constellations along the ecliptic.
- PtolemyAround AD 150, Ptolemy gathered more than a thousand stars into 48 constellations in the Almagest. At its core, our system today is his.
- Très Riches HeuresIn the book of hours of the Duke of Berry, now in Chantilly, each month’s picture shows the two zodiac signs of the month at the top.
- PragueThe astronomical clock has stood on the Old Town Hall since 1410, today with calendar, zodiac and clock.

Zodiac Aries Package 2026 – Courage, Energy and Noble Metal Combined
Some collectibles arrive with a sober, understated air. Others grab you from the very first glance. The Zodiac Aries Package 2026 clearly belongs to the second category. Anyone born between 21 March and 20 April already knows: Aries brings fire. And it is precisely this fire that the minting artists have captured in two beautiful coins of the purest precious metal.
"The stars show the way, but fate lies in your hands." – This is the encircling inscription that adorns both coins.
What's in the package?
The bundle combines two limited-edition strikes from the Republic of Liberia, produced to the quality standards of Kettner Edelmetalle. Both pieces feature a premium collector design with the energetic Aries against a star-filled night sky – one bathed in warm golden radiance, the other in cool silver light with a sparkling diamond accent.
- 1x 1/200 oz Gold Zodiac Aries 2026 – Proof, mintage limited to just 5,000 pieces, fineness 999.9/1,000, 0.16 g fine gold
- 1x 1 oz Silver Zodiac Aries 2026 – Proof with inset diamond, mintage of just 5,000 pieces, 31.1 g fine silver
A design that burns
Even the first glance at the reverse reveals the hallmark of experienced engravers: the Aries leaps powerfully from blazing flames, its mighty crown of horns finely detailed, the starry sky above it structured down to the last detail. On the silver edition, an inset diamond sparkles like a bright star against the dark mirror surface. The obverse displays the grand universe design featuring the symbols of all twelve zodiac signs, the sun, the moon and the four elements – a true work of art in miniature.
Who is this package designed for?
This edition is more than just a coin – it is a personal statement. Ideal for:
- Those born under Aries who want to create a lasting tribute to their zodiac sign
- Collectors who appreciate thematic series with a clear concept
- Discerning gift-seekers – whether for a birthday, christening or as a keepsake
- Precious metals enthusiasts who wish to combine inflation hedging with the pleasure of aesthetic collecting
Gold and silver – the eternal alliance
While other currencies come and go, gold has proven itself as a reliable store of value over millennia. Silver, in turn, brings an exciting complement through its industrial significance and high liquidity. This package bundles both – compact, collectible and with tremendous emotional appeal. The tiny 1/200 oz gold piece serves as the small yet refined precious metal anchor, while the silver piece with its full ounce is the weighty partner.
Limited mintage as a collector's argument
With just 5,000 examples worldwide each, the mintage is modest. Those familiar with the history of such limited thematic series know: early collectors frequently secure the finest pieces – because once the mintage is sold out, there is no restrike. That is precisely why this set is already among the most closely watched new releases of 2026 in our range.
Secure your piece of the night sky – in gold, in silver, with a diamond and all the energy of Aries.
