Coming in to land with an oak branch

Since 2021, the reverse has shown an eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch as if to add it to a nest. That is how the United States Mint describes it.
It was designed by Emily Damstra and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. The initials ESD stand at the left in front of the branch, MG at the right.
In the image of this edition, the eagle is in colour: its plumage in a gradient of turquoise, blue and violet, its head white, its beak and talons yellow, the branch violet.

The coin is issued by the United States Mint. The colour, gilding and shimmering gradient are only added afterwards, as a finishing in an edition of 100.
Underneath lies the 2026 silver coin with one ounce of fine silver and a face value of one dollar.
The image shows a grey field with a stone texture. On the eagle side, there is a small coloured flag on the left and a red-and-white ribbon behind the wing.

The Hologram: When Silver Comes to Life
This special edition of the American Eagle 2026 stands out from the classic bullion version thanks to an elaborately applied hologram. Depending on the angle of light, the coin unfolds a fascinating play of colors, lending an entirely new dimension to the already impressive design. The majestic bald eagle – America's heraldic animal – appears to literally glide across the coin's surface. On the obverse, Lady Liberty reigns, that immortal symbol of freedom that has inspired people around the world for generations. Combined with the hologram effect, this minting becomes a true work of art in precious metal.
Extreme Limitation – Extreme Potential
Let that number sink in: Only 100 specimens of this hologram edition were produced. One hundred. Not a thousand, not ten thousand. One hundred. In a world where the regular bullion version of the American Eagle alone leaves the United States Mint in the millions each year, this is an almost vanishingly small quantity. For collectors, this strict limitation means above all one thing: a top-tier rarity with considerable value appreciation potential.
Whoever secures a coin with a mintage of just 100 pieces today may tomorrow own a piece of numismatic history unlike any other.

Why Silver – and Why Now?
Silver is far more than just a shiny metal. It is a raw material that has become indispensable in electronics, solar technology, and medicine. Industrial demand continues to grow steadily, while natural supply remains limited. This tension between rising demand and finite resources makes silver coins a fascinating investment product. What's more: profits from the sale of silver are generally tax-free after a holding period of at least one year – an advantage that savvy investors know to appreciate.
Silver has served as a medium of exchange, currency, and store of value for thousands of years. Various cultures and civilizations have valued it as a symbol of wealth and prestige. This inherent, intrinsic value – supported by real physical properties rather than mere trust in governments – makes silver a timeless companion through economically uncertain times.
American Eagle: A Legend Among Bullion Coins
The American Silver Eagle is not just any coin. It is the silver coin of the United States, minted by the United States Mint, an institution with over 230 years of tradition. Since 1986, the Eagle has been issued in its classic form and enjoys the highest reputation worldwide. The high liquidity of this series is legendary – American Eagles can be traded and converted into cash virtually anywhere in the world without difficulty.
Compared to the regular bullion version, however, this hologram special edition offers a decisive added value: it combines the proven material value of silver with the numismatic desirability of a strictly limited collector's edition. While the standard Eagles serve primarily as an investment product, this edition is aimed specifically at collectors seeking something special – and willing to secure a piece of exclusivity for themselves.
Who Is This Coin Made For?
Quite simply: for the discerning collector. For those who don't just want to buy silver, but a one-of-a-kind piece in spirit – a coin that stands out from the crowd thanks to its very low mintage and unique hologram. Anyone wishing to add a true highlight to their collection will find it hard to pass up this edition.
Secure one of the few remaining specimens of this extraordinary hologram edition now, before the last pieces are sold out. With a mintage of just 100 coins worldwide, one thing is certain: this offer will not remain available for long.
