Seit 2014 wird der Wanderfalke von der Royal Canadian Mint mit der Serie „Canadian Birds of Prey“ ausgegeben. Er gilt als Nachfolgerserie der sehr populären „Wildlife Serie“, die sich auch mit der Tierwelt in Kanada beschäftigte. Die Serie wurde auf eine Dauer von zwei Jahren mit je zwei Tiermotiven pro Jahr ausgelegt.
Als erstes Motiv der Birds of Prey Serie 2014 ist der Wanderfalke auserwählt worden. Die Serie „Birds of Prey 2015“ endet also mit insgesamt vier Motiven. Die Feinheit ist mit 999,9/1000 beziffert. In der Prägequalität „BU und einer Auflage von einer Millionen Münzen wird zusätzlich eine „Proof“-Ausgabe für Sammler herausgegeben, deren maximale Auflage sich auf nur 20.000 Stück beläuft. Der Nennwert der Silbermünze liegt bei 5 CAD (kanadische Dollar).
